Singing for All Levels
The lesson gives you an insight on healthy singing ( what it means for your voice) and getting to know your voice with simple exercises and work on intonation, style, colour, improvisation (if needed) and overall what we call "finding your own voice". No matter the level !
We usually start with simple breathing exercises that you can do daily, followed by warm-ups and vocal exercises to pinpoint the parts that can get better. The overall goal is, no matter how long we work together, that you leave with information that will help you keep your voice healthy and tap into your voice's potential.
When it comes to working on different styles, we try to connect the technical information to the overall feel/groove of the style of your choice. We try to find ways to make your voice adapt to certain styles better (i.e. jazz, soul, rnb and pop) with musical tips and tricks.
As important as the technical training is in vocal coaching, we never ignore that singing is something that's affected by our mental and emotional state; we try to touch those topics as well, with the hope of providing you more confidence and overall calmness towards singing.
