This Latin tutoring class in Groningen, is for people who want to learn Latin from the basics or who want to improve their Latin skill.
The class consists of three main parts:
1-Phonetics and Grammar: you learn how to read properly Latin and the grammar rules to understand and translate Latin;
2-Culture: to understand the ancient Roman language, you have to understand their way of thinking, you have to learn all about their habits, costumes, gods, society.
3-Translation and use of the Latin dictionary: when you proceed to translate Latin in your language, the first thing is to rephrase the sentence, starting from the verb; the second thing is to find the exact meaning of the word on the Latin dictionary and, at the end, you are ready to translate.
