I am a native Chinese, born and educated in China. I have a master’s degree in English Linguistics and Literature. Before I came to the Netherlands, I was an English University teacher for more than ten years. I speak standard Chinese and have obtained the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. I also have a Certificate of Putonghua (Mandarin) Proficiency Test, Level I-B.

In 2014, I came to work in the Netherlands. I have been working at Groningen Confucius Institute, where I give Chinese language courses to students of different levels, and design one-on-one courses, which are tailor-made to individual students with different needs and requirements. I also give cultural workshops, I translate all kinds of documents and help organise various teachers training programs and cultural activities.

I am enthusiastic and dedicated, able to work effectively both independently and in a team. I like communicating with my students and am delighted to see how they are making progress in their learning. I design various learning activities and use multiply teaching materials to make learning easy and fun. I hope to meet you in our Chinese language classes.
