About me

Hello everyone,

I am havin. I was born and raised in Turkey. Before I moved to Netherlands, I had been as an English Teacher in both government schools and private colleges for different age groups and levels of English language learners. I graduated from Dicle University Education Faculty English Department in Diyarbakır, Turkey. After my graduation I applied in a teacher training programme in Shrewsbury, England in 2008. Moreover, I made Erasmus+ school projects and worked with the partners from Slovakia and France. In order to be more qualifed as a teacher, I joined many seminars such as Student-centered Education (Oxfort University Press,Turkey), Making English Classes Fun and Fruitful (Turkish Education Association) and Educational methods and Techniques in Teaching English(The Ministry of Education,Turkey). Besides, I applied in a teacher training programme which is called Methodology Revisited, Revitalised, Re-energised in Malta. I also worked in the classes of English language in which the students study for the University exams.

I have been teaching English and Turkish for over 17 years at different levels. As an enthusiastic and hardworking teacher I use different styles, tecniques or methods according to the students deficiency and expectations. I also support them by coaching and programming their studying events in English and Turkish.

After all, I settled in Rotterdam last year and opened a new door to a new culture. And I started a new adventure for my career as a teacher. I started to live in Barendrecht with my two kids. I have a daughter and a son. My daughter is 7 and my son is about 4. We liked This country and its people very much. Everybody is so kind and nice people. we are very eager to learn more about this culture. And I would like to share my experience as a teacher and add more in this magnificent country.

By the way, I like discovering new cultures, traditions and cusine. I like jogging, listening to music and watching movies. I draw pictures and paint in my free time. I love playing games and dancing with my children.

Briefly speaking, language learning is a universal need. It doesnt matter how old or who you are but learning language is a necessity to communicate and understand the world. And I know we will find more in common within eachother!
see you in my classes
kind regards
