Angelos

Hello there!

My name is Angelos, I am 25 years old and I am an English teacher from Greece, but currently based in Hilversum, Netherlands. I did my Bachelor's in English philology and pedagogy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while I have also completed a master's degree in English literature at Utrecht University.

My teaching experience is extensive as I have spent five years delivering English lessons for a variety of purposes. I have tutored one-on-one classes, instructed elementary school students, and have also taught at international summer camps. Throughout my career, I have managed to help students learn English by implementing interactive exercises and incorporating literature and drama into my teaching; in addition to teaching the language, I always make it my goal to help students understand the target culture and cultivate a fascination for its arts.

Moreover, I am highly knowledgeable when it comes to lesson planning and using technology to subserve learning. I understand that not all students learn in the same ways, therefore I always try to tend to different needs and expectations, by providing either visual or acoustic aids along with grammar and syntax exercises. My strong teaching and organizing skills have made a plethora of students happy about learning, and their appreciation is what motivates me to move on forward and keep on teaching.
