I am a freelance Horn player based in Delft, involved in multiple social projects, member of the Mediterranean Brass quintet and a horn teacher.

In 2021, I graduated the Artist’s Certificate Music program at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, Netherlands.

My experience as a horn player before moving to The Netherlands, started in 2012, when I joined the Moldovan National Opera as third horn, at the time when I was still a student at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts of Moldova. The five years I spent together with the Orchestra of the National Opera of Moldova offered me the possibility to grow as a musician, to learn and master a broad opera repertoire, playing third and first horn parts. I joined the National Opera of Moldova on numerous international tours over the years, in Spain, Switzerland, France, Germany, Romania.

At the same time, I took the opportunities to work with other Orchestras, such as the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, The Chamber Orchestra of the Organ Hall of Moldova and the Romanian Opera Craiova.
In addition to my performance career, I took a job as horn teacher in the Musical High School of Chișinău, where I undertook the challenge of teaching horn to beginner players, a challenge I enjoyed and allowed me to develop new communication and interpersonal skills. In 2016, I started my PhD studies at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts of Moldova, where I propose to study horn compositions by Oleg Negruța (Moldovan composer) in the Moldovan national horn repertoire.

Although I have ever strived to develop my career in a wide, multidirectional way, the education of the next generation of musicians is a matter of great importance for me. For this reason, I would like to share my vision and ideas on playing horn with those who want to master it in the future or just to have fun and discover something new.
Playing such a beautiful instrument as the horn is an honour and joy for me. The various possibilities the horn can offer make me explore and discover the instrument every day and I believe that I can help others to see that too!
